Thank you for choosing Veterinary Vision of Rochester. We know that finding specialized care for your pet can feel overwhelming, and we're here to make the process as smooth as possible.
Scheduling Your Appointment
To request an appointment, please complete the form below. A member of our team will review your request and contact you to discuss appointment availability.
Please note: An appointment request is not a confirmed appointment. Your visit is confirmed once you have spoken with our scheduling team.
New Patient Deposit
To reserve your pet's first appointment, pre-payment of the new patient examination fee is required at the time of booking.
Because we reserve dedicated appointment time for each patient, this deposit secures your appointment and allows us to provide timely specialty care to all of our patients. The examination fee will be applied toward your visit on the day of your appointment.
If you need to reschedule or cancel, we ask for at least 48 hours' notice to receive a refund of your deposit.
What to Expect at Your First Visit
Your pet's initial visit is a comprehensive ophthalmic examination performed by one of our veterinarians.
During the appointment, we will:
Review your pet's medical history and any previous eye treatments.
Discuss your concerns and answer your questions.
Perform a complete ophthalmic examination, which may include specialized tests such as tear production testing, fluorescein staining, measurement of eye pressure, and dilation of the pupils when appropriate.
Discuss our findings, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, and any additional diagnostics or procedures that may be recommended.
Please allow approximately 60–90 minutes for your visit, as some diagnostic tests require time to perform and interpret.
Before Your Appointment
To help us provide the best care possible, please:
Bring a list of your pet's current medications, including eye medications.
Bring any relevant medical records if they have not already been sent by your primary veterinarian.
Continue all prescribed eye medications unless you have been instructed otherwise.
Arrive a few minutes early to complete any remaining paperwork.
We look forward to meeting you and helping your pet achieve the best possible vision and comfort.
